1.
A new continuous data interface was added – with PC Quote.
All the user needs to do is select PC Quote in OptionVue’s
Continuous Data Interface dialog. When OptionVue is started,
the PC Quote server through which OptionVue gets pricing information
is automatically launched, and can be seen as a small icon in
the task bar on the user’s display. When OptionVue is closed,
the PC Quote server automatically closes, provided no other applications
(e.g. PC Quote’s Orbit software) are using the server.
2. An Account Rename function was added in the Portfolio Manager.
It is available through a new button in the Account Information
screen.
3. An Insert button was added to the Yates Break Search window
that works like the Insert buttons on the Lookup and OpScan Report
windows. When clicked, it sends the currently selected item(s)
to the Quotes Display.
4. A new
choice was added in the Put/Call Volume Settings dialog – Normalized
Put/call Volume – computed as P / (P + C) (put volume divided
by total put and call volume). Also, we have been asked to display
numeric values associated with the Put/Call Volume charts. While
finding a way to label the vertical axis remains problematic, we
are now showing numeric values at the wand position.
5. In the Market
Maker version of Detailed Analysis (off the Graphic Analysis),
the
first row in the Daily Time Effect section at the
bottom used to show the position’s theta at the projected
future date. Now it shows the position’s today’s theta,
like the Regular version of Detailed Analysis. |
