1. In the Quotes Display, a new button was added (in the upper left) for instantly saving the contents of the Quotes Display. The image on the button is that of a floppy disk. Alternate ways to save include pressing Ctrl+S and selecting File | Save from the main menu.

2. In consideration of those who are partially color blind, we added the ability to select the colors used in the Matrix shading feature. Go into File | Preferences and look under the new, 2nd “Misc” tab. In selecting new colors, please limit your selections to the lighter colors because the Matrix displays information in black type.

3. For those who frequently need to export from the T.Log to a textual Excel file (.csv), we created a new way with fewer steps involved. From the Options menu in the T.Log, select the new choice “Export to .csv”.

4. Throughout the program, whenever you export using Print To File, the program now assumes you want to export to a textual Excel file (.csv) by default. Previously the default was an ordinary text file (.txt). We hope this change meets with the approval of most users, as some were having to rename their .txt file to .csv to make it ready for Excel – a step that will now be unnecessary.

5. In the ASCII export feature we added three new parameters – expiration date, strike price, and option type (C or P). While these parameters were available before, they could only be output in a combined single field called description. Now you can output them in separate fields.

6. We decided to release the restrictions on BackTrader and let Trial programs have full BackTrader functionality.
