Price & Put/Call Volume Charts - "Find a trend"

With the release of version 1.60, OptionVue 5 has expanded its price chart functionality. "Bar" price charts are available for viewing with volume information included for reference. Trend lines can be auto-configured or manually drawn by the user.

A series of technical indicators can be added to the chart while the user can set the parameters for each indicator. Some indicators will appear as an overlay, while others will be added below the chart for reference. One simple setup screen provides for initial setup or quick adjustment.

A user-defined target zone can be added to the Price Chart and positioned at any point in the future. The boundaries of the zone will be utilized throughout OptionVue 5 as target areas and the price and time information can be used during a TradeFinder simulation, if desired.

Only OptionVue 5 will display historical option volume data right along with the Price Chart. Up to three moving averages can be displayed representing dollar volume, contract volume, or open interest for puts, calls, both, or a ratio (puts/calls).

Put/Call information can be charted as daily data, or a running average of the previous 1-40 days. This allows flexibility in how you view past option data, define Put/Call moving averages, and even create buy and sell signals.
